Happy New Year everyone! Thank you so much for your warm and sweet message on my previous post. Currently suffering from hives that spread across my entire face (aghh!!) but I will be reading all message and hopefully reply to them slowly.

I did manage to make the Ozoni (Japanese New Year soup) the recipe I got from my mother, and Osechi which in Japan we eat on the first day of the year. Actually there’s much more in the menu but I’m having nauseous so a very simple one this year.
I don’t normally post food pics so I want to share my favorite Japanese homecook food feeds. @natsuki_717 and @uni_to_ikura. It’s nothing like mine... so much nicer!

On the 31st, I managed to make the Toshikoshi soba (New Year’s Eve noodle) to wish a long and healthy life.

あけましておめでとうございます。本年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします！皆さまからの暖かいコメント、本当にありがとうございます。不安だらけの妊婦生活の中、とっても嬉しかったです。元旦から、顔全体に広がったやけどのような湿疹…みなさんのコメントはゆっくり返させていただきます。なんとか大晦日は年越しそばを作って食べ、元旦は、まだ悪阻がひどいので質素なお節と、母からレシピをもらったお雑煮を作ることができました。まだまだ料理下手ですが、前からフォローしている @natsuki_717 さんや @uni_to_ikura さんの家庭料理は憧れます。いつもお写真を見てはうっとり。私もいつかはああいう料理を作れるようになりたい！
