Photo by @iantehphotography | I shot this while flying in tandem on a paramotor. It was my first experience and absolutely a delight to feel so free. The image is of Port Klang, Malaysia's largest port and gateway, and the 12th largest in the world. Malaysia's multicultural society is largely the result of its importance as a trading hub for many centuries. The Malacca Straits brought traders and Islam in the 14th century, followed by Indians and Chinese as well as the Dutch and British colonial powers. Its wealth and diversity are due to its strategic geographical position at a time when trade was governed by sea currents and monsoon winds.
