In March of this year, with our foundation, Shikshya Foundation Nepal, we partnered with Sotheby’s to co-host a dinner in celebration of Asian Art.
Honouring craftsmanship has been at the forefront of our brand values since our founding, and as an American brand with Nepalese roots, we draw strong inspiration on the colours, textures and stories of the Eastern world, with art that dates back thousands of years.
We strongly believe it is important to take a moment to appreciate the beauty that art has to offer, the innovation from those who have come before us, and the messages and narratives these gifted artisans seek to convey. For me, art is provoking, spiritual, challenging and above all, healing.
Thank you to Sotheby’s for allowing us to celebrate our heritage with you this year at the Asian Art Auction dinner, and thank you to our beautiful and inspiring muses Constance Wu and Nell Diamond for joining us on this special evening.
