@dan_neri_photo photographed the latest rock star to take up residency in NYC. This Mandarin duck has called NY home since mid October, much to the delight of birders and photographers. This male Mandarin, whose species is Indigenous to East Asia, has become an internet and news star, as stories about it continue to get written across the web.
From the photographer: "Make sure you always keep your distance and respect the wildlife you are photographing. By using long lenses, I was able to stay back, avoid the small crowd, and not put any un-necessary pressure on the ducks in the pond." Camera: #Canon EOS-1D X Mark II
