my parents were born and raised in Turkey, in a village where lots of Turkish Arabs reside. These people are from a lineage of Syrian people. So when people want to know my ethnic background, that what explains my physical appearence, I always reply with Turkish Arab. Yes I speak Turkish and I relate and love the culture, But I also feel a deep connection to the Middle Eastern Arab world, as that is where my roots truly lie.
