One a day like this, I think back to when we were getting ready to open our shop on Spring Street 7 years ago. When you have a dream to start something of your own, there are a lot of sacrifices, a lot of long days and nights, a lot of moments when you doubt yourself but have no choice but to roll up your sleeves and do your best. That’s what I’ve always set out to do: to try my best, for my team, for my guests, and for the people I care about most. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s those little moments when you see someone take a bite of a pastry that you and your team worked hours and hours to make, and see a smile on their face...it’s all worth it.
