My assistant, Jenny, wears her hair in a ponytail almost every single day. So when it comes time to do her hair, I make sure to take the extra time and pay close attention to foil placement around her hairline. ✨
Starting at the nape, I take diagonal sections and thinly weave her highlights. When I get to around her face, I take the tiniest, finest sectioning so she doesn’t feel dark when she pulls her hair back. ✨
PRO TIP: The most important foil out of all of these I feel is the one above the ear! Rewatch the video and pay attention to that placement. For girls who wear their hair up, that foil is SO important! Going the extra mile and focusing on the small details is what will set you apart from the rest! ?
