Mount Yotei(#羊蹄山) is located in southwestern Hokkaido?

#MountYotei measures 1,898 meters tall. It is nicknamed “Ezo-Fuji(#蝦夷富士)”, since it is in Ezo (former name for Hokkaido) and has a shape similar to that of Mount Fuji(#富士山).

The mountain is a popular hiking spot, both in the summer and winter months. There are four routes to choose from, and hikers of all levels are welcome to climb Mount Yotei.

At the peak, there is a hut where you can spend the night. It is open from June to October.
