Blown away and so humbled for @189bydominiqueansel being part of the @LATimes 101. A year ago, we decided to take a leap of faith and open our very first restaurant, a place where we could serve food made from the heart. Where we turned the tables on what brunch could be. Where our desserts brought to life the kitchen lessons that we as young chefs learned along the way. Thank you to our incredible team at 189 and downstairs at the Bakery, led by @anthony_nicolas_stagnaro and @leeannderthal, for pushing forward each and every day with passion and respect for what we do. Thank you to the late great Jonathan Gold for visiting and for using your gift of words to convey what we believe in.
