“All I can say is that Garzón was on my mind, and I couldn’t get it out,” says stylist Florence Nicaise Pearse of the destination of her stunning vacation house, as seen in our December 2018 issue. Florence and her tailor-to-the-stars husband John decided to build a home in the tranquil town, which boasts a modern and rustic feel and sits on gently rolling land. In the living room, the custom daybed is from Lucila Del Campo, a shop in the Uruguayan resort town of La Barra. The curtains are of a natural linen, and the walls and floor are hand-poured concrete.
