AD | Oh hai, didn’t see you there because I’m feeling so relaxed and zen. Lols, such fun. As a lot of you will know from my video (linked in my bio), I’m currently on a rather epic health journey with @ww.uk and I’m loving it. I’ve been doing it since June and the benefits have FAR outweighed (no pun intended) the 25lbs I’ve lost. I feel energetic, my clothes fit, my skin is happier and I can feel my confidence slowly creeping back in. I use the WW app every day to track my points but now they have a brand new feature that I’m in love with. WW have teamed with Headspace, the global leader in meditation and mindfulness and they now have little mindfulness exercises you can follow along with. Headspace is free to all WW members with the app and most of them are only 3 minutes (easier to fit in if you’re a busy mum or dashing about) and all you have to do is listen, focus and relax. For me, food and eating has always been more than just fuel. It’s connected to my emotions, my moods, my stress levels. So, when I work on those and take time to look after that side of life, I tend to make much better choices with what I eat. I know I’ve said it before but honestly, I freaking love that WW understand that we need more than calorie counting or meal planning, it’s a totally holistically thing and they just ‘get it’.
