My first Thanksgiving in the US was @restaurantdaniel, working in the pastry kitchen. I had no idea about the tradition and had never had a pumpkin pie. And for the next 6 years, I spent Thanksgiving in the same way with the same people. The turkey and gravy I ate was the one made by #jeanfrancoisbruel and @lerouxeddy, my family and friends were working alongside me in the kitchen pass. And papa @danielboulud walked the room. It was home. And you go home for Thanksgiving. (Still crave that stuffing all year long.)
