Today I had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving day with a local Jordanian family here in Amman. Moussa and Mary are new friends and it was an honor to be invited into their home. Sitting around the table with multiple generations, conversing about our families, served as reminder that we are all quite simply, regardless of origin, doing the best we can. Regardless of ethnicity, faith or gender, we don’t choose where or how we are born but you can sure as bet we all feel the same pain, joy, hopes and fears. My wish this Thanksgiving is that no matter where you live on this planet we will all continue to seek connection, promote tolerance, have unbridled compassion and to never, ever, ever give up hope. ? #lovemakestheworldgoround #thanksgivingthoughts #agratefulday
