The time has come for you guys to meet Cristina! Earlier this year, I posted some IG stories announcing that I was hiring and looking for a part-time production assistant. We received A LOT of emails (thank you so much), but eventually narrowed it down to several candidates (shout out to @eileeneveryday who had great instincts with this). When I spoke to Cristina via Skype, everything clicked. She was obviously very qualified, but she was also incredibly interesting to talk to. Her ideas and values aligned with my own, something that I think gets overlooked far too often in today’s world in exchange for a focus on growth and profit at any cost. Fast forward to now and we’ve been working together for three months. In the summer, Cristina started off part-time and during those couple of months we got to know each other and understand our work flow. At the beginning of this month, she started her full-time position as a production manager. I honestly couldn’t be happier to have Cristina on board. It’s been almost 6 months since we first spoke to each other and what still stands out to me the most is Cristina’s commitment to helping people feel good about themselves. On a daily basis I see her questioning cultural norms and figuring out ways to challenge these norms in her daily practices. She is always reaching for the greater good, and that’s exactly why I hired her.
