『MUTEK.JP 2018』の最終日にシンボルゾーンでパフォーマンスを披露したjan and naomi。その照明演出と「Geo-Cosmos」の映像演出を、未来館のビジュアライゼーションチームが担当しました。ビジュアライゼーションチームは「Geo-Cosmos」を使った新しい映像表現の開発に取り組んでいます。今回はゲームエンジン「Unity」を使って、音楽とリアルタイムに同期・操作が可能な映像システムを開発しました。昨年6月のナイトミュージアムでも好評だった絨毯を敷いたリラックスした空間の中で、音とシンクロした太陽系の惑星が次々と映し出され、普段見ることができない「Geo-Cosmos」の姿が特別にお披露目されました。
Miraikan's visualization team took part in lighting and content direction for a "Geo-Cosmos" live performance of jan and naomi on the final day of "MUTEK.JP 2018". Our visualization team is in charge of developing new levels of performance with the "Geo-Cosmos", and they produced a system that synchronized music and motion graphics in real-time. The audience sat and reclined on carpets on the floor in a relaxing atmosphere and enjoyed a special version of the "Geo-Cosmos" with visuals of planets of the solar system.
