Lower East Side in Rain (4/9) : Part of Endgame series for Clayton and Elsa, as the community faces further drastic gentrification, or super radical change. I don’t want to use the word of “endgame”, but I decide to use it, as my fried Clayton insists and suggest it. Or we might just over-romanticize the old days… The caption: Man near Williamsburg Bridge. The area is also located near NYPD’s 7th precinct where many protesters and journalists, including Clayton and me, were detained for no rationals, at least in most cases, often after experiencing police brutality during the anti gentrification movement in the late 80s and 90s — most cases for the detainees were just voided. #lowereastside #WilliamsburgBridge #nyc
