Meet @cecile.dormeau, a French illustrator currently based in Paris. As you can see from her work, she loves using simple and colorful palettes to create her designs, which often details things from her everyday life — especially anything about her feelings, awkward moments, or late-night talks with her friends and sisters.
So far her career on Instagram has helped her meet people from different cities, which has helped her to build a community of lovely and supportive people, but she’s always loved having her work shared to help girls move forward with self-acceptance and self-love.
She likes to use subjects “not often brought out in the daylight.” She looks at the hidden actions, details that people are often too ashamed to share, and taboos for themes to work with. She says it’s important to explore, improvise, and try new things if you are also looking to charge your creative energy and really put yourself out there, especially on Instagram.
