Aloha family, Kokua Market is near closure. To save Kokua Market, we need to raise a lot of money. $150k to pay what we owe our beloved local farmers and businesses, $250k to get through the end of the year, or $500k to successfully transition to a new business model where we focus on a local cafe, an indoor farmers market and becoming a food hub. We raised $13,000 just with the people in our owners meeting last night, who are passionate about getting our local businesses made whole and hoping for a future for our Co-op.
