As I was driving home tonight, the pink light on El Cap reminded me of this evening many years ago up on The Great Roof. Funny how subtle lights and shadows can jostle memories loose. It’s amazing that in the twenty five years since @_linacolina_ made the first free ascent of this iconic route, it’s still a rarity to free it.
