I recently became part owner in a boutique hotel in Point Dume, Malibu called Native.
@nativehotel was hit by the Woolsey fires and although it sustained damage the structure remains.
This photo shows first responders at our hotel combatting the fire that almost overtook Native. We are incredibly indebted to our fearless local firefighters. Without their bravery, our property and countless Malibu homes and businesses would not be standing.
We are working with our local council members and direct community to find ways to open our space to support those in need. As soon as the mandatory evacuation has been lifted, we will be opening our property to all Malibu residents affected by the fires as a place of safety and respite. We will be acting as an outpost to provide supplies, warm meals and help in any way we can.
Once the immediate needs of our community are met, we will begin the process of restoring our property. so once again our guests can enjoy the magic of Malibu.
