Nearly 15 years ago when I was designing my Willoughby House shop in a Grade II listed building in Nottingham I was conscious of adding a contrast colour to the edge of the stairs to help partially-sighted visitors. Hand-painted measuring tape running the width of each step seemed like the perfect solution. I stopped by today during my visit to Nottingham and was delighted to see how the paint has aged since the shop opened in 2005 #takenbyPaul
