“After several “wows” and “holy cows”, Hayley (@hayoui) and I are bittersweetly on our way home from a whirlwind trip to Cape Breton Island. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit this little big island on the east coast of Canada again, this time the landscape sporting its finest fall attire (and even some snow). What really made the trip was getting to meet a bunch of locals who were so passionate about their home and went out of their way to show us some of their favourite hikes. « Hayley (@hayoui) et moi ne sommes pas encore tout à fait remis de l’émerveillement que nous a offert notre voyage éclair sur l’île du Cap-Breton. Je me sens particulièrement choyé d’avoir eu la chance de visiter à nouveau cette petite île majestueuse sur la côte Est du Canada, alors que les paysages s’étaient vêtus de leurs plus beaux habits automnaux (et même d’un peu de neige). Le clou du voyage a été de rencontrer des gens qui parlaient de leur coin de pays avec un enthousiasme contagieux et qui prenaient soin de nous montrer leurs sentiers de randonnée favoris.
