Crossing the Delaware always has special historical meaning . In the winter of 1776, General George Washington took a huge last effort and crossed the heavily iced and snowy river at night in a much needed surprise attack on the Hessians (German soldiers who served as auxiliaries to the British Army) This changed the Course of our country and our freedom forever. The victory and Washington re-ignited the cause of freedom and gave a much needed new life to the American Revolution. This historic victory was much needed just as one is needed today in our country. We must protect our rights, values and freedom. Please go #Vote ??
