Skulls are a symbol of our mortality, a reminder to live life fully and defy expectations. In Mexico they celebrate Día de los Muertos, an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO). On Dia de los Muertos, the dead are awakened from their eternal sleep to share celebrations with their loved ones.  Celebrating with skulls painted on their profiles and dressed in 19th C. French fashions, and women dress as “Catrina” “Todos somos calaveras,” means “we are all skeletons.” Our recycled sterling silver skulls declare that underneath it all, we are the same. ??
