The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the @WeareCoachCoreUK apprentices in Essex today – the scheme helps young people who are not in education, employment or training to build a career in sports coaching.

The Duke and Duchess also had a chance to meet several people taking part in Sport for Confidence and The South Essex Gymnastics Club – local organisations which have employed multiple @wearecoachcoreuk apprentices in the last three years.
Established by The Royal Foundation in 2012, shortly after London hosted The Olympic Games – @WeAreCoachCoreUK aims to harness the power of sport, and its ability to change lives and empower young people.
