Driving to my event this morning there was a bad accident right behind us. Cars collide into each other, watching through the rear view as they spin into crossing lanes. Metal flying and the sound was piercing.

It made me remember how fragile life is and how quickly it can be taken from you or change in an instant. I thought about my kids and if something happened to me would they know I loved them. Would someone explain to them the kind of mom I was. When I left this morning did I hug them, did I say “I love you?” Me and my oldest son aren’t on talking terms how would I feel leaving this place with that on my heart. So many things crossed my mind.

Everyday peoples lives are unexpectedly cut short. Don’t take tomorrow for granted if you love someone, tell them. I’m grateful for this life I’m blessed with. As I look at this photo I’m thankful God placed my children in my arms. Blessed I woke up today and I’ll be able to kiss my kids goodnight tonight.
