After the brutal winds and rain of Hurricane Michael struck Florida two weeks ago, oyster farmers have estimated losses ranging from 60 to 90 percent of their crop. Now, they are unsure if they can continue in the storm-ravaged region as residents continue to live without power, running water, sewer and cell service. And as some begin to rebuild, the oyster farmers say they are constantly reminded that the prospect of another hurricane looms in their future.
