'Today we are here to dedicate this island to The Queen's Commonwealth Canopy – an initiative established in honour of my grandmother The Queen's lifetime of service to the Commonwealth.' Today, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited beautiful K'gari - or Fraser Island - as part of the dedication of the site to The Queen's Commonwealth Canopy.
The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy project was launched in 2015 with the aim of creating a unique network of forest conservation initiatives across the 53 countries of the Commonwealth.
