Just had an early morning visit to the Anni Albers exhibition at Tate Modern. Anni and her husband Josef were central characters in the story of the Bauhaus and so I’ve been familiar with their work for some time. A couple of years ago my catwalk collection was inspired by Josef’s work which prompted the lovely people at the @albers_foundation to get in touch to discuss collaborating. To coincide’s with Anni’s Tate retrospective I’ve designed a very small limited edition collection of woven pieces inspired by Anni’s work. The scarves and blankets have sold like hot cakes but there are a few sweaters left if you move fast! #annialbers #takenbyPaul
