There’s no doubt about it: #LakeMcDonald is one of the most beautiful places in Glacier #NationalPark. A hub of activity on the park’s west side, Lake McDonald is @GlacierNPS’s largest lake at 10 miles long and nearly 500 feet deep. Its crystal-clear waters provide a mesmerizing view of the layers of colorful rocks and pebbles below, but be warned, the water is icy cold -- most lakes never get above 50 degrees Fahrenheit at the surface.
