Residents in the Florida Panhandle are returning home to start the long, slow road to recovery after #HurricaneMichael ravaged their communities last Wednesday. About 182,000 electricity customers in #Florida are still suffering from blackouts, according to the state’s emergency response team. People are waiting for hours to buy essentials or to receive aid. Mayor Margo Anderson drove through her small bayside city of Lynn Haven to deliver some unwelcome news: The electric power might not be restored for 2 months. @ek_the_pj took this photo of a young woman in Parker, Florida searching the bedroom of her neighbor for medicine that went missing when the roof flew off.
