Schiaparelli opens its first pop-up store dedicated to ready-to-wear and accessories in New York City. Located within the iconic Bergdorf Goodman, the new space is the first outside 21 place Vendôme since 1954.
Today’s collaboration between Schiaparelli and Bergdorf Goodman echoes the long-standing relationship that goes back to 1931. In the spirit of Elsa Schiaparelli’s extensive travels, the place Vendôme couture house has crossed the Atlantic to New York’s Fifth Avenue. Large wardrobe trunks display clothes and accessories in a salon where walls are painted with a view of Paris’ place Vendôme. The famous Jean-Michel Frank birdcage that has welcomed clients in Paris has been recreated so that New York women can enjoy the same art-meets-fashion decor.
