It was a really tough day for me yesterday ending my last junior comp with a 2nd place finish. I had a high fever throughout the comp but it really didn’t effect any of my surfing. In the final, I was required a 8pt ride and actually surfed my best, and it was for sure the best ride of the heat, so I thought I got the score...and I ended up getting a 7.9. Super close but not enough haha.
Just missing a spot for worlds and 3rd place rank for this year. But I was happy with my surfing so that’s all it matters. And stoked to take out the highest one wave score for semis and the final.
I got a couple contest coming up still so I’m gonna keep my momentum and surf my best!
