For the past 9 days, I’ve been traveling with a small group in and around some of the most ancient and beautiful places in Jordan. Talking with the lovely Bedouins and Jordanians, eating at their tables, and walking their most sacred paths has changed me. It has altered the trajectory of my own life in ways that are yet to be seen.

Traveling alone has been hard because I ultimately feel that my purpose is my family, and the distance confirms that purpose. However, what I’ve learned about myself, by simply being able to listen to my own heart and mind is a reminder that self-care is always a priority.

I am working with the Jordan Tourism Board to share my experience here, but my personal and spiritual takeaways are lasting and important, and hopefully far-reaching. This country is highly reliant on tourism, and I’m honored to support and hopefully inspire some of you to consider the journey yourselves!

There is so much personal growth in immersing in other cultures, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
