Cut the length shorter and make the ends blunt, but slightly beveled with @shannelmariano ✂️

Step 1: I cut all her hair at natural fall.

Effect: Just like the diagram, if I take a vertical section on her hair, you’d see that all it falls to one point. This caused her perimeter to be blunt.

Step 2: Then I took a vertical section on the center back of her head and pulled the section straight out. I dropped majority of the hair out because I wanted to keep the perimeter still kinda blunt. I cut just a bit off perpendicular to the floor. I connected what I was cutting to the length of the hair on the bottom of the section I was holding.

Effect: Leaving out majority of the hair on the bottom, caused the perimeter to remain blunt. Pulling the hair on top straight out of the head shape and cutting a line perpendicular to the floor caused the hair to bevel. Why? Since the head shape is round, it caused the hair I cut to be shorter on the bottom and longer on the top. It’s like a I put a little baby graduation on top of a line / one-length haircut. ❤️✂️?
