☝?These are three things that I feel so, so fortunate & blessed to have fully found and embraced around the young age of 20/21. And today, these 3 things burn within me like fire, helping me to accept essential & well intended criticism, helping me to shine, to ooze confidence, and to constantly grow and improve. In our generation, we are often exposed to media and messages that contradict these themes and we are told that if and when we are successful, usually materially or bodily, we will achieve self-love and happiness... but I beg to differ and say that it is the REVERSE that is true. It is not external successes that lead to happiness of the self but rather that HAPPINESS LEADS TO SUCCESS... I’ve seen and experienced this to be true and urge everyone to find it within them to love their unique, beautiful selves... it takes a massive weight off your shoulders and more importantly, IT OPENS THE DOOR TO OPPORTUNITY & allows you to achieve and reach a potential in yourself you didn’t even know existed. Work on these three things daily, remind yourself of your strengths and be grateful for all that you are fortunate enough to have. There is A LOT to be thankful for. BE self respect, BE self worth, BE self love. -A out ✌? x
