I’ve incorporated many different symbols of peace in my work whether it’s a dove or a tree, a peace sign or two fingers, a peace lotus or a peace woman. I am pro-harmony and anti-war, but I am also fascinated by the power of easily recognized and reproduced symbols and I continue to explore various icons and the meanings behind them. Objects that represent peace are often beautiful and inspiring to me. - Shepard
