After driving most of a morning and seeing few people, we hit the mother lode as dozens of nomads dressed to the nines were practicing their dance moves on the street before a performance in celebration of National Day. Often what’s going on behind the scene is more interesting than what’s happening on a stage. I found this group dancing around a motorcycle.
