Musi, 13, is in 8th grade at Saulridge Secondary School in South Africa. After being bullied by his classmates, he started attending attending a UNICEF-supported student-led club, which helps promote mutual respect and dignity. The club gives students the support they need and encourages them to speak out and take action on issues affecting them such as violence, abuse and bullying. Since attending, Musi’s confidence has improved. He now educates other students about violence at school during peer-to-peer sessions He also realised there was a need to assist students with mathematics and has organised classes.
