In operation for 24 hours from 6pm tonight, visitors to the @swisspassportoffice at @thaddaeusropac will be able to acquire a @tomsachs studio-issued Swiss passport for €20 (no £ or Swiss Francs accepted). Applicants will have their photograph taken on a customised Polaroid camera and sit for a highly unusual interview, with their details hand-typed onto a serial-numbered passport. With Brexit looming, the American artist’s installation couldn’t have arrived at a more apt time. The installation will remain on view until 10 November.
