聞香を体験している様子。私も初めての体験でしたが、日本語で香り「聞く」と表現する聞香の世界。私が聞いた香木は、名前の付けられた特別な銘木で、100年以上も師弟関係の中で受け継がれています。

I experienced “monko” for the first time. “Monko” is the art of “listening “ to the scent instead of “smelling” the fragrance. The scent I “listened” to was of a very special incense wood, which has been inherited by pupils from their masters for hundreds of generations.
