Congratulations to #DonnaStrickland who just became the first woman in 55 years— and the third woman in HISTORY—to receive the #NobelPrize in Physics. Strickland joins the likes of Maria Goeppert-Mayer (1963) and Marie Curie (1903). In a press conference following the announcement, Strickland said: "We need to celebrate women physicists because we’re out there.
