「外装の進化」「構造の進化」「モジュールの進化」をコンセプトに、ケースのフルメタル化を実現し、Connectedエンジンを搭載したGMW-B5000からNewモデルが登場。
硬質なステンレス素材を用いてフルメタル化を実現したケース・ベゼルに鮮やかな発色を実現するIPを施した、ブラックとゴールドの2モデルをライ ンアップ。 今回はケースとバンドにヘアライン加工を施し、より高級感と落ち着きのあるメタルの質感を最大限に引き出しました。また反転液晶を採用 することでよりシックな仕上げにしています。

Ever since the first DW-5000C, G-SHOCK has been constantly setting new standards in innovative design, tough structure, and powerful modules. Now to mark the 2018 new model of the G-SHOCK from the GMW-B5000, a full-metal G-SHOCK with a Connected engine.
A flat bezel is adopted for the square-shaped case with stainless-steel, which is in two models: black and gold. Hair-line finishing is applied to the upper surface of the bezel and sides of the case and mirror finishing to the case back. Metal texturing is maximized throughout.
