江奈さやか初の単独展【KNOWN】を開催。
立体物、フォトフィルムコラージュ、音、映像の 4 種類のインスタレーションを披露、 作品は全て購入可能となっております。
鏡を見ると、作家は子供の頃に部屋に一人でいる時のことを思い出すという。 「私の目に映っている空間以外は、動いていないのではないか。 この目に映っている空間さえも、実は停止していて、私だけが動いているのではないか。 そもそも、私自身が今ここに存在していないのではないか」 疑いを払拭するように、幼い作家は、部屋にある姿見に自身を写し、鏡に映る自分の瞬きが同じスピードであることを幾度となく確認 した。一連の行為で自分の意識と、生の実感を得たのである。 本展は、世界は私で、私は世界である......。悟りにも似たこの気付きを【ーKNOWNー】と呼称し、立体物、写真、音、映像と多角的 なアプローチで【ーKNOWNー】の視覚化を試みた。 展示作品は、全て本展のための新作。今までの活動とは一線を画した作家の新しいスタートを是非、この機会にご高覧頂きたい。
When the young artist stares at the mirror, it reminds her of the time she was alone in her room as a child.

She often wondered, “Maybe things are not moving except the space I see through the mirror, or maybe everything is at a standstill except me.

Or in the first place, I am the one who dose not exist right now.” To wipe our her endless doubts, this young artist blinked at herself in the mirror again and again to check if the movement is exactly the same inside and outside the mirror. When she confirmed it, she become aware of her consciousness and finally felt alive.

This exhibition -Known- is about “the world is myself and I am the world”. She named this kind of awareness, as -KNOWN-. She worked to visualize this concept with objects, photographs, sound and images.

All of the art pieces are created especially for this exhibition,
Which are distinct from her past creations.
