In Tomorokoshi Arcade in Katashina Village you’ll find approximately 20 grilled corn shops stretching over four kilometers.

This is grilled corn from Shimizuya near the entrance to the arcade. Since you can eat it raw, all you have to do is grill the outside a little.

The sweet smell of slightly burnt soy sauce fills the air. The kernels of corn are small, but they are sweet and firm.

The corn is served with pickled cucumber and tea.

4kmにわたり、約20軒の焼きとうもろこし屋さんが並ぶ、片品村の「とうもろこし街道」。 その入り口付近にある、清水屋さんの焼きとうもろこし。生でも食べられるものなので、焼き加減は表面をあぶる程度。

醤油が焦げるいい匂いが周囲に漂います。とうもろこしはやや小粒ですが、甘味が強く、歯ごたえも良いです。

付け合わせに、キュウリのお漬物とお茶を出していただけます。
