The nightly music and light show illuminate the so-called ‘Supertrees’ - enormous tree like structures - between 25 and 50 meters tall that are planted with a variety of orchids, bromeliads and ferns. Singapore prides itself on being a ‘green city’, despite being densely populated and is promoting development of green spaces, either on the ground or up in the air - on rooftops and the sides of buildings.
