#onthisday 5 years ago, we were halfway through our first Australian tour. It is no secret that this tour has been very hard for the band, and this show was probably one of the hardest we had ever played. After that show, here is what Alex told Ben: "I can't believe we had to suffer so much in order to give life to “Between Illness and Migration… That we had to die over and over to liberate our minds from our shadows and demons. That we needed to have our souls bled to death only to go back to the very same shit. I don't want to fake on stage the way I did for years. If life has to transcend art, we'll I don't want my life to ruin the purity of those songs.
