#sembikiya is an old-school fruit parfait parlor in Ginza founded in 1887. We visited the stately dining room in the afternoon, surrounded mostly by well-heeled Japanese women taking a needed parfait respite from shopping. The seasonal melon parfait was $20 and worth every penny. Pristine, chilled, and perfectly balanced. And we couldn’t miss the chocolate whipped cream and banana sandwich, obviously. #wisesonstokyo #frtakeover
