Earlier this year, @moh_mckenzie and @clint_malik started incorporating everyday objects into their street style photos on Instagram: Clothespins hang from thrifted trenchcoat pockets, broken mirror shards are fastened to sunglasses with string, and playing cards are safety-pinned onto everything from traditional Kenyan robes to hand-painted jeans and captioned #MadeInKenya. “We use objects related to our culture, like matchsticks, brooms, handmade handbags,” says Malik, and the pair have become a street style duo to watch on social media.
