Some things makes me angry, and sad. And one of them is the fact that people think it’s okay to comment however they want on social media. Some people are receiving so much shit and hate on instagram/YouTube EVERY.DAY! and some are even getting death threats in their comment fields and in their DM:s. that is soooooo fucked up!! (One time I got a DM from a man who told me that he would rape me. Yep That’s true)
Usually, For me it’s mostly things like: ”Close your mouth” or, “stop overline your lips”, or “what happened to your face”.. I mean come on.. nobody asked for your opinion and who are you to judge how someone chooses to look?
Does it bother you so much that you REALLY have to tell me to stop overline my lips? Be nice or say nothing at all. It’s called bullying guys. Just keep scrolling or unfollow if you don’t like what you see.
I thought we’ve come further than this. But apparently we haven’t. I bet 99% of these so called haters would never in their lives tell a stranger on the street that they use too much makeup or that they should wear more makeup..
for me. Makeup is all about expression, not to fit in in a certain norm or trend. We have way bigger problems in this world than people overlining their lips.
There are actual human beings behind those phones and screens. People with feelings. So think before you post something unnecessary. You never know when you actually hurt someone.
